Bella’s Meet at Christmas on the Chesapeake

Bella’s 2nd Level 6 meet was the Christmas on the Chesapeake Meet in Baltimore, Maryland in December. Bella competes her Level 7 skills although she is competing Level 6. The only exception was competing her back tuck in her floor routine instead of a back layout.

This was a tougher meet for Bella. She started on bars where she fell on her free hip on the high bar. She was able to shake it off and with only a couple of errors pull out a 9.650 on beam. This was a huge win for Bella since this is the first time she has been able to compartmentalize and shake off the prior event that didn’t go well. Vault was vault. Scores are low across the board, but especially tough for the tiny girls. At just over 50 pounds, Bella doesn’t have any extra weight to give her any help with that spring board.
