Bella’s 2nd Level 6 meet was the Christmas on the Chesapeake Meet in Baltimore, Maryland in December.
Bella competes her Level 7 skills although she is competing Level 6. The only exception was competing her back tuck in her floor routine instead of a back layout.
Bella’s 1st Level 6 meet was the Commonwealth Cup Meet in Fredericksburg, Virginia in November. Bella had hoped to compete Level 7 this year, but is doing Level 6. Bella is using her Level 7 skills in her routines rather than just competing Level 6 routines. She loves getting to compete her giants on bars.
Grace came in second All Around in the Region 7 Regional Gymnastics Meet for Level 8.
It was her first time competing her Yurchenko pike and she did really well and scored a 9.425 on it!
While she only came in second on floor in her age group she was 5th out of over 500 Level 8s competing.
Grace had an incredible state meet this year. She came in first place in bars, beam, floor and was all-around state champ. She came in just under a 38 at 37.950 and barely missed making Team Virginia.
Her scores were:
Vault – 8.975 | Bars – 9.650 | Beam – 9.625 | Floor – 9.700
